    In mysql.err after restart:

    130802 4:29:48 InnoDB: 5.5.32 started; log sequence number 13263738
    130802 4:29:48 [ERROR] /usr/sbin/mysqld: unknown option ‘–skip-feedback’

and also had to comment out skip-sphinx.

Now it works on a RamNode OpenVZ 128MB VPS running Drupal on Nginx, FPM, Mysql.

I’m going to assume that it’s better.

Hi, first let me say this is a great collection of tips for the Pi, I make use of almost all recommendations under “optimizing for reduced memory usage” and it works really great.

A question: is it intentionally that you do not configure InnoDB? If yes it is probably best to deactivate the engine completely to free more memory. If no then I would add a few lines to tune InnoDB for low memory usage as well (I would be happy to contribute my suggestion if you’d like)
